About

I have started this site about a year ago now mainly out of an interest in programming in PHP and developing my design skills.

But it seems to have blossomed into a bit of an obsession. I have support from volunteers (the main person is James who has been amazing at helping with the coding for the site including the DSLmodem page!

So if you want to help out you are more than welcome to do so!)

If you want to get in touch I would love to hear from you! The easiest way would be to send a message via my broadband forum or on twitter

Who am I?

I used to work for a large NZ based Telco and I have been managing ISP and support helpdesks since 1998. I am heavily involved in DSL (Broadband) in NZ and I love working out new issues or finding clever ways to make DSL faster and more stable.

Around a year and a half ago, I left that Telco and have been working in totally different industry before going fulltime as an online Entrepreneur, which has been the most exciting step I have ever taken.

If you know anyone from ISP / DSL modem manufacturers, that are looking for a highly focused site to advertise, I would of course be very happy to chat any time.

Also a lot of the tools here are at a point that they would be easily integrated into the support section of a Telco, ISP or Modem manufacturer, giving a great way of your customers fixing their problems themselves (for example the ADSL Modems list,  The Broadband Troubleshooter etc) and can potentially save your support desk a lot of time.

I am starting to get used to ADSL blogging and ADSL tweeting. So be sure to post comments to encourage me to do more of it!

Cheers,
Jay Best :: ADSL geek
