Modem/Router Features:
Firewall- ADSL2/2+ Compatible
- ADSL LAN or Switch
How to login:
- Go to http://192.168.1.1/ in your web browser and it should prompt you to login.
- The default username is Admin
- The default password is Admin
How to add PPPoA connection:
If the log in was successful you will be presented with the following HOME page.Click the "EZ SETUP" tab, and then click "Wizard".
From the Country list, choose the New Zealand profile
Click Next
You will be presented with the following Set PPP Password page:
Now type your username and password that was given by your ISP provider (e.g. Xtra, Orcon or Ihug, etc.), when you setup an ADSL account with them and press apply.
The modem will save and reboot and you'll be presented with a CONFIGURATION page.
Ensure that your previously typed in username and password has been saved. Retype if it hasn’t.
You will notice that a connection profile, called "Xtra" has been added to the left hand side.
Click the Apply button
Click Modem
Ensure "GDMT" is selected for ADSL1 (depending on the ISP it can automatically use "ADSL2"). If ADSL2 Speed is not working choose "ADSL2" as last option.
Click Save All
